CGarchitect.com is hosting the 10th annual Architectural 3D Awards. The winners will be awarded at the exclusive awards trophy in partnership with the  2013 Mundos Digitales Conference in La Coruna, Spain and be given prizes by our generous sponsors. The competition will be open to everyone in the Architectural Visualization industry to highlight the best imagery, films and real-time/technology projects done in 2012/2013.

The call for entries will open the first week of April 2013 and run until mid May 2013.

This year's awards are divided into seven categories:

- Image (Commissioned)
- Image (Non-Commissioned)
- Film/Animation (Commissioned)
- Film/Animation (Non-Commissioned)
- Real-Time/Emerging Technology 
- Student Category (Film)
- Student Category (Image)

From the submitted entries a panel of expert judges will select the top five nominees in each category.

This year we’re launching a brand new 3d awards website layout leveraging responsive design rich in award winning graphics.

Three New Categories

This year we've added two new categories and evolved one of our existing categories.  We now have a new Student Category for both architectural film and images.  We've also expanded our Real-Time category to include emerging technology implementations in architecture. This includes everything from augmented reality, custom applications and hardware to present/display architecture, mobile applications etc.
