Architecture in Perspective Invitation to the Online Conference

Dates: Friday, 16 Oct. and Saturday, 17 Oct. 2020, 4-9 pm
This event is online only and consists of pre-recorded video interviews that are available now the ANCB website AND two days of moderated Zoom sessions with workshops and live Q&A's.

For the first time, ANCB The Aedes Metropolitan Laboratory is hosting the Architecture in Perspective International Conference. The conference is held every year as part of the American Society of Architectural Illustrators (ASAI) program.

ASAI invited ten panelists, who explore the field of architecture and architectural illustration consisting of film, photography, performance, storytelling, conceptual ideas, academic and built environment. Each panelist talks about the work in a video session, which can be watched on the ANCB website now. These videos serve as a basis for the moderated zoom sessions on 16 and 17 October. ANCB PROGRAM
This online conference is part of the series Museum Dialogue, a collaboration between ANCB and the Tchoban Foundation - Museum for Architectural Drawing, investigating the role of architectural drawing today and how contemporary architects engage with different art forms to convey their ideas.

What began as a single, small, local, art competition has grown both in scope and in size, to become the preeminent international celebration of architectural illustration. To help extend this celebration, each year ASAI publishes a catalog and mounts a traveling exhibition. A live exhibition was planned to be held at the Tchoban Foundation—Museum of Architectural Drawing, in Berlin. But given the current world situation, we invite you to enjoy this virtual experience curated by Esenija Bannan and developed using Unity by Dmitry Vrubel & Victoria Timofeeva. The virtual experience includes personal videos by artists about their selected image. Enjoy!! 

How to explore the VR exhibition
To fully enjoy and experience the exhibition in Virtual Reality, we recommend a VR system. The virtual art exhibition is also available in web browser and can be viewed on any desktop or laptop computer.

Use the WASD keys and the mouse/trackpad for navigation inside the VR exhibition. To exit press twice the ESC key. The VR exhibition is not yet available for mobile users.
