Inspiration

Fine Art Friday - Vol. 6

With so much focus on the technical side of of visualization, we want to bring some much needed attention back to the roots of our industry. Every Friday we'll be posting a series of paintings, photographs and traditional illustrations to showcase lighting, composition and mood to help inspire your digital visualizations. Below you'll find a selection of curated works across the centuries.  Do you have a favourite non-digital artist you think we should feature? Let us know!

If you want hands on training to really get your creative juices flowing, we highly recommend the excellent work being done by Nikos Nikolopoulos and Damien Fennell at Creative Lighting. They have regular online and live training that has amazing feedback. Hands down the best inspirational classes you can find in architectural visualization.

Traveling along a golden spiral, compositions that never let your eye wander off the canvas. A turning inward. Transitions. Echoing shapes distorted by the near, the far, the sharp, the soft, the colorful, and the atmospheric. The perception of such is visual intelligence.
Excellent selections!
