A new business and psychology
Hello again, you might remember the visuals related to the Kapadokya Hotel project that I occasionally shared here or on my other social media accounts. It truly ranks among the projects I enjoyed modeling and rendering the most in my life. However, since the project was an old structure and we mostly bring modern ones to life, I wasn't expecting questions to come from an unexpected source.
The most significant issue was starting a new job, in a new office. Through an acquaintance from my workplace where I had been working for six years, I urgently started this new job without taking a break and was one of the three people who modeled and rendered the project. There were so many spaces to work on, approximately ten of them were assigned to me. But I couldn't seem to reflect the modeling speed and rendering stages I wanted in my work. Adapting to a new job took about 1.5 months. Everything, from the machine you use to everything around you, changes in a day, and this affects you and your workflow. Here, I also want to thank my employer. Since he himself was a former architectural visualizer, he understood me and provided the necessary feedback to keep me motivated.
In short, even if you know the job well when you start, various factors mentioned above may delay your ability to showcase your skills. Therefore, my advice to employers would be to show the necessary patience to newcomers. You can see the initial and final presentations by looking at the renders below.
Best Regards
