V-Ray 7 Beta for 3ds Max is Here!

Time is flying, and we're thrilled to announce the beta release of V-Ray 7 for 3ds Max! This preview version is packed with a host of new developments designed to enhance your rendering workflow and bring your projects to life like never before.

What's New in V-Ray 7 Beta

  • Rendering Support for Gaussian Splats
  • Firefly Removal Algorithm: Eliminate unwanted bright spots in your renders with our improved firefly removal feature.
  • Efficient Rendering of Complex Light Fixtures from Chaos Cosmos: Render intricate light fixtures more efficiently, thanks to optimizations when using assets from Chaos Cosmos.
  • Arbitrary Render Regions and Vignetting Effect in the VFB: Gain more control over your renders with arbitrary render regions and add artistic vignetting effects directly in the V-Ray Frame Buffer.
  • Distribution Maps for Chaos Scatter: Use distribution maps to have better control over object scattering with Chaos Scatter.
  • Improved Sky Model: Enjoy a more realistic and dynamic sky in your scenes with the enhanced sky model.
