QuadriSpace Corporation™ announces the first real-time 3D presentation software for AEC professionals.

New presentation software improves architecture’s clients understanding of 3D models and 2D drawings in an interactive presentation environment.

Allen, Texas, December 4, 2001 – QuadriSpace Corporation, an innovator in creating software solutions for presenting CAD designs in 3D, today announced the release of QuadriSpace AEC Presentation SuiteTM. The software package enhances the process of communicating architectural designs to clients by providing a single environment for presenting 3D models and 2D drawings in an interactive and real-time format.

The presentation environment allows users to select and create views of 3D models and 2D drawings and position each view on a page. The walkthrough view allows clients to use simple mouse commands to experience the design as if they were inside of a 3D model. This view can be synchronized with a 2D floor plan (DXF or DWG) drawing to coordinate orientation between the two views. Users can also get a bird’s eye view of the exterior by orbiting the model. The combination of an easy-to-use authoring environment and a powerful, 3D rendering engine allows users to create interactive presentations in minutes.

The complete software package includes three components QuadriSpace PresenterTM, QuadriSpace ViewerTM and QS ExporterTM. QuadriSpace Presenter allows for the creation of presentations that includes 3D models, 2D drawings, descriptive objects and text. QuadriSpace Viewer is a free application that allows anyone to interactively view presentations created in QuadriSpace Presenter. QS Exporter is a plug-in to 3D Studio MAX® and 3D Studio VIZ® for seamlessly exporting 3D models to QuadriSpace Presenter.
