In addition to all the innovations already brought by natFX for 3ds max such as a its new generation of hybrid modeling technology, the Texture Management, natFX 3 has been fully enhanced with:

• Easy pruning of the trees
• New customization & deformation features

• Handling of normal maps for realistic relief texturing

Hybrid modeling is a compromise between 2D and 3D. It allows to generate realistic billboard trees, mixing 2d and 3d, while taking into account the performance of the computer and the needs for different levels of detail of the tree according to its visualization and use.

Today, with the release of natFX 3, Bionatics complete its new technology of hybridization with customization and animation features that allows a much more realistic, homogeneous and productive tree modeling solutions.
