Categories and Submission Details

This year, we’re continuing with the categories that have defined the awards, along with a few exciting updates to keep things fresh and competitive.

1. Image Categories:

Commissioned & Non-Commissioned Images: Showcase your best work, whether it’s a project for a client or a personal endeavor, respectively.
Viz Pro of the Year: Community Choice: Open to individual artists, this category is exclusively for images that have previously won the “Viz Pro of the Week” award in 2023 or 2024. Our community and judges will vote to decide who's gonna be the 2024 Viz Pro of the Year. (stay tuned for instructions on how to vote for your favorite artist)
Studio of the Year: Studios are invited to submit one commissioned image that represents their best work from the past year. This image must be unique and not submitted to any other category.

2. Film/Animation:

Film/Animation Projects: Submit up to 5 films or animations created or made public in 2023 or 2024. The focus is on visual quality, editing, and overall impression.

3. Interactive:

Interactive Projects: Enter your interactive visualizations, including VR/AR experiences. The focus here is on how interactive elements, user interface, and overall impact come together to create an immersive experience.

How to Enter

Entering the 2024 CGarchitect 3D Awards is straightforward:

Create a CGarchitect Account: If you don’t have one already, sign up on our website.
Submit Your Work: Upload your images, films, or interactive projects to the appropriate category. Remember, you can submit up to 5 entries per category.
Follow the Rules: Ensure that your submission complies with all the award rules. Entries that do not comply may be disqualified.
Await the Announcement: Nominations will be publicly announced on September 14th, 2024, three weeks before the event.
Celebrate: Winners will be announced on the World Visualization Festival's stage on October 5th.

Judges who attend are invited to present awards on stage, and we’re working on providing tickets for all nominees and judges (availability is limited).
