Yes, but the results are still valid. The salaries and demographics don't change that quickly in our industry. I suspect I'll do the next salary survey late 2016 early 2017.

Is there any data behind this survey? Who took it, how many took it..?

Yes, the survey was taken by approx. 2,000 CGarchitect members. Some questions would be less based on how the questions were forked and how far someone got into the survey. From my calculations everything is statistically representative within about 3-5%.
