Rendering Post-production | Photoshop (for 3D ARTISTS)
Artist and instructor Ciro Sannino has released an interesting short tutorial explaining how artists can improve a scene's lighting using Photoshop.
Post-production in renderings generally focuses on tonal and color correction. But this time I want to talk to you about how to emphasize certain shadows to give greater strength to the DIRECTION OF LIGHT!

Post-production in Photoshop to improve your lighting with this fantastic tip to fix the lack of Chiaroscuro. (this topic is explained in depth into my Corona Course, Chaos Academic)
In this type of post-production applying a curve to increase the contrast is not enough: here we must apply concepts of Chiaroscuro: gradients and steps.
As you can notice, in these corners the "steps" (= relevant variation of light amount) are not very pronounced. Usually, it depends on the space and the way how the light bounces around.
