The renovation of the Galerie Royale - which was entrusted to the internationally renowned French architect, designer, and urbanist Jean-Michel Wilmotte, to enhance the historic architecture - highlights the patrimonial features that are a legacy of the district’s wealth: the stone-cut street façades, listed as World Heritage by UNESCO, an Art Deco interior façade with its ceramics and its large ornamental skylight, and the historic staircases.
