Anchored in our algerian culture, the family home is often a layering of isolated spaces, where each generation lives behind its own walls, sharing a roof without truly sharing a life. This project aims to tell a different story, one where architecture becomes the bond, where the home itself unites rather than divides.
The balconies unfolding at every level are not merely there to connect the floors. They are bridges of emotions, invisible ties between souls. From here, the grandfather can watch his grandson play in the morning sunlight, while the father, from his own balcony, sees his son stepping into life, close yet in his own way.
These balconies are silent witnesses to shared moments. From here the father meets his son in a fleeting, serendipitous moment, where the grandfather ties his grandson’s shoes. These simple yet life-filled scenes are the very soul of this home.
A home that celebrates family life in all its beauty, fragility, and preciousness. A home that brings people together, that listens, that inspires. A home that lives.
