The design is deeply inspired by the rich cambodian culture, a culture that has led to an economic and cultural evolution, not to be seen as a return to the past, but instead as a tribute to it. These identity processes are based on physical similarities, customs and the community's own collective memory, satisfying their needs and providing services and benefits, as well as situations that allows them to live and enjoy their culture without having to survive it. The Tbanh Huts are conceived as a structure that projects the remembrance of the Khmer culture, through its shape, roofs and specially through the facade panels which allow the inclusion of artistic weaves using local techniques and resources made by the local community
