Taj Mahal - Mausoleum located in India, one of the new 7 wonders of the world.
The work was done between 1632 and 1653. It took more than 20,000 men, more than 1,000 elephants and approximately 21 years of execution to complete the sumptuous white marble monument that Emperor Shah Jahan had built in memory of his favorite wife, Aryumand Banu Begam, whom he called Mumtaz Mahal ("The Jewel of the Palace"). She died after giving birth to her 14th child, and the Taj Mahal was built on her grave by the Yamuna River.
Thus, the Taj Mahal is also known as the greatest proof of love in the world, containing inscriptions taken from the Koran. It is encrusted with semi-precious stones, such as lapis lazuli among others. Its dome is sewn with gold threads.
Depending on the intensity of sunlight or moonlight at night, the Taj Mahal has different colors and its four sides are perfectly identical. In the morning, the walls have a pink colour, which then changes to white in the afternoon and, as night falls, becomes a beautiful gold with the moonlight.
