Thanks. Did you model the surface in Rhino or jus export the image sampler pattern as another image? Did you use UVW unwrap in max?

We actually did both, but went with modeling the surface in Rhino with the openings, and then just replaced the original surface on 3dsMax for rendering, So we didn't really need unwrapping.

The façade looks great! I've been trying to achieve something like this for my university project. Would you mind sharing how you got the pattern onto the surface.

Thanks Richard, sure here's how it went.. The pattern was drawn and converted into a normal black/white image on Photoshop, applied in a simple image sampler definition on Grasshopper, then applied as an opacity map in 3dsMax
