House V is a project I had to "bring to life" for a friend.
I just fell in love with the building when I saw the preliminary sketches and ideas of arch. Vladi Velkov. And had to visualize it. Red-ish pigmented concrete that compliments the greenery around the building. Moving metal shaders that create that interesting pattern of the facade. And also the shape of the building that derives from preserving two tall and old willow trees.
The first images that I completed were strictly photorealistic. Showcasing the building at its full "glory". But that was just not enough in my opinion and I created a few more "loose" sketches using oil paint brushes in Photoshop. Starting with a very rough and basic renders and painting on top of them. And with that the project was complete.
