A quick little challenge to fill the time.
The chair was a 3D model I had bought for another project and the composition is inspired by a picture from a mood-board somebody once briefed me with.
For me, the most interesting part was to recreate the light, as I had seen it in the photograph and creating a rough floor-rug.
I placed a transparent plane with a decal tree image in front of the area light that simulates the window.
This creates some irregularities on the wall and makes the light less sterile.
For the floor-rug I used a some noise on a box and filled the upper surfaces with "hair&furr"
10 hours 3dsMax and Iray + 10 minutes Photoshop
