Our involvement was as collaborator for the international competition for a Bicentennia Cultural Center in Buenos Aires, a XL building of more than 100,000 mts2. In this auditorium for 2500 spectators it was aimed to show the dynamic of the space in the situation of full audience, which comprised the center body of a project that contained locations for music, conference rooms, mediatheques and exhibition halls. The scheme consists of two strategies, on the one hand a cultural field of urban intensity, generated by a programmatic weave that dynamizes and multiplies the potential energy of each activity, establishing a balance between cultural programs, closed/opened programs, commercial strategies and services, and by another one of piling up, developing the concept of the box like the essential and paradigmatic element of the architectonic proposals, multiplying it and piling up it to generate that dynamic and connective programmatic weave. //// the team was also formed by Sergio Barreto, Sebastián Caram, Martin Cobas, Pablo Courejes, Omar Of Santa Ana, Diana Gottero, Cecilia Lema, Florence Payret, Mauricio Pizard, Gerard Rouilier and Marcelo Staricco
