Having this kind of building orientation (facing south), shows the basic tropical designing which avoids direct sun glare from east and west orientation but Philippines( Davao City) belongs to Northern Hemisphere. This hemisphere preference means that the building is more prevalent to sun declination angle from the south than the declination from North orientation depending on the time in a day, day in a month, and month in a year. With this phenomena, sun glare from the south orientation still exists and the computation of the length of vertical and horizontal louver is also applicable to avoid direct sun glare from 9 am to 4 pm.
