Giving a new life to a beautiful old building.
This is a 3D modelling and rendering of a beautiful manor house build at the end of the nineteen century or beginning of the twenty century. The CG reconstruction was based on actual photo references of the building.
There are many gems of architectural beauty in Central and Eastern Europe, speaking of an era before communism, gems that are sometimes lost between overgrown vegetation, hidden in countryside at the edge of old villages, on hillsides or valleys. This beauties are often forgotten or dispelled by people, authorities, and even history. Time slowly breaks them apart, their story untold.
Their revival, when it happens, is complex, long term work, done by passionate people, owners or organizations and the results are usually marvelous.
The purpose of this 3D reconstruction of the H.C. Manor house was to preserve its beauty, keep a record of its features and maybe even keep a little of the thoughts of the architects and builders that made it come to life a hundred or so years ago from idea to brick and mortar.
