I think he's referring to the white material. There is absolutely no texture or definition on it whatsoever - which makes it rather bland. Consider a camera correction for the perspective. The absence of vertical lines is disorienting.

uh-oh! I think the cars are gonna bottom out on that driveway. What is the material on the exterior facade. Looks like painted gyp-board. ?
