3ds Max 2012, little bit of Photoshop
Here is another of my "Seasons" projects set in nature. It was completed in single day, like previous "Bridge House" . My point is to learn new techniques and don't slow myself burried in details yet.
This time I spent time on figuring how to procedurally model rocks. Since I wasn't able to truly export anything useful out of VUE (the baked result was always horrible mess in my opinion) I created them myself in Max using Max noise and cellular maps. I am very satisfied with it, since it allows me to scale the details simply with single tesselation at beginning.
I also bought a single dutch skies HDRi, since I don't have any sunset ones, and this one was very cheap for it's quality, and fully ready for sIBL.
