Inspired by photos I tried to recreate real world lighting as close as I could.
Modeled with SketchUp and rendered with Thea Presto AO (GPU + CPU) and a small amount of depth of field.
Floor and tiles modeled with the SDM Floor generator script for SketchUp using just a single tile able texture!
Original render is 3000 pixels high.
No post pro on the image.
As I was using Thea render I tried the different rendering engines to find one that worked for this image. I had some photo references that I tried mimicking.
A bit surprisingly it turned out that Presto AO gave to most photorealistic look.
I tried with different lighting. Sun and Sky, Sun and HDRI and HDR only but those didn't give me enough light in the ceiling so I ended up using a emitter plane just outside the window tilted just a little bit down and to one side.
