The project, initiated in the early stages of the pandemic, aimed to create an ideal environment for the client to carry out their professional activities at home. This client, specialized in Digital Marketing, conducts numerous live streams, teaches classes, and creates digital content, necessitating a space with an attractive backdrop containing various objects that represent their professional identity. Furthermore, the setup was designed to optimize acoustics and incorporate attention-grabbing background lighting, effectively highlighting the teacher.
The space prior to the project was a small room that served as a pantry in the house located behind the service area. To make the project feasible, the door from the service area was sealed off, and a new door with direct access to the garage was installed, isolating the office from the rest of the house. The space was designed with a desk, chair, cabinet, mini-fridge, chalkboard, a corner for family mementos, a bathroom, and a study of camera and lighting positioning.
After conducting a preliminary study and defining the project layout using AutoCAD, which was subsequently approved by the client, we began the 3D representation of the project.
The execution of this project was extremely enjoyable, allowing me to exceed the client's expectations. All the furniture and selected items were carefully chosen to ensure quick execution, organization, and functionality. The color palette revolves around the contrast of wood, black, and vibrant RGB lighting that stands out on the shelves and objects. The addition of a whiteboard for lesson planning and a grid to manage cables and display cherished family photos, including those of their children, affectionately referred to as the "dream board," were thoughtful touches.
The client was very pleased with the project, which was completed within a week. This compact office space facilitated the personal growth of thousands of students, enabling the client to continue their regular work during the pandemic.
