The Bi-House is a unique architectural project designed to accommodate a multifamily household. The residence features two separate buildings connected by a central patio with fixed blinds that filter sunlight.
The primary owner, a grandmother, has a spacious bedroom with a private bathroom and direct garden access. Her son, his spouse, and their child occupy the front building, which houses an empanada shop and a car workshop on the ground floor. The married couple's apartment, with its own kitchen, is situated above these businesses.
The design includes two rentable rooms for foreign students, each with a private bathroom. These rooms are integrated into the main house to foster community.
The central patio, covered for security and climate control, serves as a communal gathering space. The interior design features an industrial aesthetic, with polished concrete floors, matte black painted structures, and bare brick walls sealed for waterproofing.
