Arch Viz
Morning sun in the garden
Here is an architectural visualization of a house done in 3ds max and Corona renderer. It was a good opportunity to work on the lighting and atmosphere. The aim was to create a fresh, inviting garden that wakes up to life.
A few technical notes:
I created a few new models of grass and bushes in GROWFX specifically for this project.
Some of the leaves have Ambient Occlusion maps to simulate how one leaf affects the other in real life. There are also noise effects to show that parts of the leaves are dry. (It would be visible at a close-up:) ).
For the grass, I used gradient ramps in the diffuse slot. I then randomized this gradient using corona's multimap. A similar gradient ramp is also in the translucency slot. I avoided using traditional pixel-based bitmaps. It renders faster and saves some memory, and is procedural so that repetitions are eliminated.
There is double glazing in the window and a bump map on the glass to distort the reflections.
In order to represent the air perspective (the masses of air visible in the back), I used the corona global volumetric material.
I hope you like it!
