This modern private house blends industrial materials with natural elements to create a unique and visually engaging home. The careful interplay between heavy and light materials, along with the thoughtful integration of nature, results in a space that is both bold and tranquil—a perfect retreat in a peaceful, green setting.
The living areas of the house are primarily constructed from rusty metal sheets, a material that lends a warm, earthy character with its rich, textured surface. This is softened by extensive glazing, allowing natural light to flood the interiors while creating a striking visual contrast between the solidity of metal and the transparency of glass. The large windows also establish a seamless connection between the indoor spaces and the lush outdoors.
A unique feature of the front façade is the integration of a tree that grows through the roof, symbolizing the importance of nature within the architectural design. This living element not only adds a touch of organic beauty but also serves as a reminder of the natural environment surrounding the home.
The garage section, constructed from concrete, offers a visual counterbalance to the vibrant texture of the rusty metal sheets. The subdued tone and solidity of the concrete help ground the structure, providing a calm and stable base for the more dynamic upper levels.
Due to the site's natural slope, the house is designed with two levels. The upper level accommodates the primary living spaces, while the lower (-1) level opens onto the backyard. This façade, facing the backyard, mirrors the bold design of the front with rusty metal sheets, glass balustrades, and expansive windows, creating a cohesive visual language.
The backyard features a swimming pool that reflects the entire rear façade of the building, amplifying the architectural lines and materials while enhancing the serene atmosphere of the outdoor space. Additionally, the lower level is equipped with moving shutters that can be adjusted to provide privacy when needed, offering both flexibility and functionality for the homeowners.
