Capsule

The concept of the house
Indonesia

Our team aimed to create an organic form that reflects the endless processes of life, inspired by nature and molecular structure. In this project, we abandoned corners and preferred smooth shapes symbolizing the cycle of life and infinity. The house has become a single organism, blurring the boundaries between man and the world around him.
The main idea was to create a barrier-free environment where space seamlessly connects with nature, and a person feels not inside a closed world, but part of a living organism. One of the striking solutions was the "green carpets" — which "fill" the space, connecting nature with architecture.
The name "Capsule" reflects the compactness and self-organization of the elements. The H2O molecule became the prototype for the shape and volume of the building — a symbol of life, harmony and water.

Conceptual layout
We decided to create a conceptual layout, which became an important element for a deep perception of the project idea. This helped us to feel the shape and scope of the future architecture.

For the layout, we chose concrete as a symbol of strength and stability, with smooth, organic shapes reflecting the fusion of elements. Unlike traditional layouts, this one does not represent a scale model, but rather symbolically reflects the essence of the project. We used moss collected personally by the author to add an element of wildlife that fills the space without being limited by its boundaries.

Our conceptual project will be used in future exhibitions, where viewers will be able not only to see, but also physically experience the concept, immerse themselves in the philosophy of connecting the artificial and living world.
One of the key elements of the interior was the DS-600 modular sofa. This sofa is a real work of art that stretches across the entire living room, becoming a visual and functional center. Its flexibility and scale emphasize the concept of change and harmony, it seems to indicate the direction of movement in this house — not only physically, but also philosophically. The sofa is a symbol of flexibility and adaptability, organically fitting into the concept of a barrier-free environment and interconnection with the surrounding space.
