In 2021, the world’s leading resort brands fiercely competed for the license to develop and operate an integrated resort in Yokohama. Over several years, Minmud collaborated closely with Melco Resorts and Entertainment, Zaha Hadid Architects, and Shigeru Ban to craft a series of images and films that captured the project's elegance and ambition.

Minmud proposed a film that seamlessly combined live-action footage with 3D rendering. Detailed 3D renderings of the proposed development were composited onto photographs and film backplates. This technique provided a convincing vision of the proposed scheme, blending real-world elements with the unrealised project for a beautiful and compelling film.

Minmud filmed several timelapse views of the site at dawn and also at dusk allowing for timeshifting in the narrative of the film.

The final shots were filmed at night flying over Yokohama capturing the beauty of the city across the bay.
