I have recently been using iRay to render out a couple schematic design images. The building is a new library located in Aurora Illinois.
My boss wanted the building to stand out more than the environment, which is why the trees are semi-translucent and less attention was given to them. Comments and criticism are welcome.
I noticed not too many renderings have been posted using iRay so I wanted to share mine with you all to show what can be done.
The machine I used:
Intel i7-2600k 3.40 GHz Quad-Core
ASUS Z68 Mainboard
8 gb DDR3 2133mhz RAM
Nvidia Quadro 6000 GPU
2x OCZ SSD (250gb for OS/Data, 60gb for caching/page file)
