Lisi House

The project area is located in Lisi slopes and contains two plots. Our goal was to create architecture, which would merge the two houses visually. We achieve this effect with symmetry, despite the containment of two independent buildings. Besides, it was crucial to connect with nature and have a positive impact on the surrounding development, which is performed with natural materials and bi-folding windows covered with vertical-wooden pillars.
The spatial alignment of the design utilizes the natural decline in the plot’s topography. It has been an important driver for the design to build in respect to and harmonize with the surrounding nature.
The layout of the building consists of four levels, each with their own function. The main entrance from the street merges two buildings with a shared courtyard.
