Roots of Portugal

Roots of Portugal

"Roots of Portugal" is a visual tribute to the essence of traditional Portuguese architecture, capturing the nuances and charm of environments that evoke authenticity and a strong bond with history and the land.
In the image, the herringbone brick path leads the eye through a narrow and welcoming courtyard, surrounded by stone walls and whitewashed walls, typical of Portuguese buildings. The sun gently penetrates through the rustic wooden beams, illuminating the space and highlighting the vibrant green of the vines that embrace the spaces. The clay vases, arranged organically along the passage, recall the ceramic tradition so deeply rooted in the country's villages. The presence of a wooden window with shutters reinforces the connection with the place, while an iron and wood bench evokes an invitation to enjoy the simplicity of the moment.

This project is a recovery of roots, which is manifested through the choice of natural materials, the earthy color palette and the lines that refer to the tranquility and harmony of rural life. Every detail of the composition is a celebration of Portuguese architecture, which merges perfectly with the landscape and the memory of the past.
