Nice image Elisabeth. I suggest to fix your wood texture mapping and scale down it a little bit, chanfe your books textures with more detailed cover pictures and you will have a very nice image.

The render seems physically accurate enough, but the palette is very busy and the placement of that organic couch confines the space.. making it hard to get to the items on the left side of that shelving unit. ps fantastic rug! Looks great.
