I'm not sure that I agree with the bridge's current shadows. To me, they make little sense in comparison to the actual shadows on the bottom left of your daytime shot.
Why not just remove the sky for the nighttime shots? With some very basic curve adjustments you can create an alpha for the sky. It literally takes about 2 minutes.
Here's a very quick attempt:

The daytime shot looks good, though!

u r gonna have to go in and replace the sky for the afternoon images... just lowering the brightness on the images is not gonna cut it. I like your day shot but agree about the cyclists.

Yes, not enough time... But it's not an excuse. Sky and clouds are parts of the problem.
I googled rapidly to find some tuto to make day image into night one. But nothing really interesting, just basics.
If you have advices to do the job, I take :)
Thx for your comment

day shot is alright - i dint like the cyclists though, would be much better if they werent brown or use proper photos. go and take some pictures or look on google
'night shots' are terrible! maybe you ran out of time but it looks like you didnt put much effort into them.
to make a day image into a night one you need to do some pretty serious photoshop work! and some more considered lighting (in 3d - not white streaks in post) on the bridge.
images have potential though.
