Thanks Jan. You are right. The foliage models behave very differently in artificial light versus Mr sun/sky. I'm currently trying to streamline my foliage so it behaves in a more predictable manner for the two mentioned lighting conditions.

looks nice. IThe DOF is perhaps a bit to strong and I think the translucency effect on the fir needles is to strong too. Last grass test looks good!

The building is a single room concept. The idea was to make a rammed-earth rig, then concrete over that. I'll try the hdri/skylight approach.

colors are nice, the pattern concrete texture need some work, now is the building very small?? the entourage make it look very small.
Regarding the fog, I'll recommend use a sky light with an HDRI to get the general tone and lighting, also only use FG although you may need to play with the bounces to get the right lighting in the interior as well in the exterior, then in post you can add fog with more control.

Can't really help with the MR stuff as I primarily use Vray.
The last image is nice but the walkway could use some more bump, it looks to flat.
The DOF makes the foreground trees look a little odd. The lighting looks pretty good.

Here's one with direct sunlight:

I've almost given up on the cloudy sky. If anyone has a good workflow for creating a cloudy sky in MR please share. In the previous images I used the MR sun/sky with my fog mult to 11. Also, I made the sun disc intensity and glow intensity 0 in the physical sky's parameters.
