i have to agree... lighting in Mental Ray and VRay always give totaly different results
So on that note nice one. Thanks for clarifying as well, I'm sure some people will feel less discomfort now? O_°

It's OK, lucky. But people will think that you created the scene.. Next time take care of what you are writing. And turn off the caps it looks very unkind .
@topic - If you turned the vray scene into the mental ray, then nice work. :)
OK THIS IS MY MISTAKE THAT I WROTE ABOVE THAT "This is created for my self just practicing with mental ray and with color of lights"
BUT LET ME MENTION HERE THAT THAT SCENE WAS IN V-RAY AND I TRIED TO GET SAME EFFECT USING MENTAL RAY.
AND I CAN UPLOAD SCREEN SHOTS ALSO I F YOU GUYS WANT.
BUT LET ME KNOW HOW TO DO THIS.
SORRY FOR MY MISTAKE.
I POSTED THIS SCENE BECAUSE I LIGHT IT USING MENTAL RAY THAT IS WHY I DARE TO POST IT HERE . AS YOU KNOW V-RAY AND MENTAL RAY ARE DIFFERENT RENDERING ENGINE. ANY WAYS NO HARD FEELINGS.
Hi Ethan,
did you see what he wrote in his thread:
"This is created for my self just practicing with mental ray and with color of lights"
Again did you see the image provided by Hao La? They are completely same. I mean even the camera angle, materials and lighting also etc. So In my opinion, this is bad. When you are not giving the credits to the real artist. Ok if you taking some thing from here and there and placing them as per your scene... but complete scene!!
One could easlily told us, hey this is the scene and I did that part of modelling/ texturing or whatever. But this not the case here. That's why I written those words.
This isn't "bad" Archigem. The only thing wrong here is that he didn't mention on which part he worked.
Lighting, Modeling, Rendering, Post Production, Texturing?...
This stuff happens all the time, when people think a CG-artist did a whole scene when he/she only implemented a CG-Building into a Photograph or something.
Same story, different context. Where do you draw the line?...

@FUDDADU: What did you in the scene?
