KATO's design aims to revitalize downtown Lebanon (New Hampshire, USA), linking it through pedestrian and bike paths, and activating the riverfront. It preserves a green public area above existing parking, connecting to the riverbank. The buildings, featuring mixed-use and residential spaces, encircle this central green zone. Sloping roofs soften their heights, offering pedestrian connections. Our visuals show how balconies, green roofs and lawns form a lush downtown oasis, an elevated park for all.
