Need help with overall lighting - ideas?

you need ao, some contrast and vignetting.if it's your window is a clear glass, shouldn't it be brighter-introduce light bloom.is the chair right?the legs seem tall.but no matter how good a visualizer you are, if the design is unappealing there's only so much you can do.
