Quebec Cottage Home

Architecturally, I'm really not into the change in cladding. I believe the original cottage had older, greying timber vertically clad and newer timber clad horizontally. Maybe changing the size of the planks and perhaps the type or condition of wood would be a nicer transition? Other than that, though, I really like the lighting (Particularly the large tree shadow in the foreground) and the slight perspectival distortion of the vertical lines. Great job!
