I surveyed the hole using traditional topographical kit, generated the DTM and modelled from within AutoCAD, 3D Studio and finally visualised in Vue. The model retains the surveyed accuracy and was used to create engineering profiles showing hole degradation and contour shifts. Additionally I converted the DTM for use in FullSwing simulators which was played at the British Masters. The stands and gantries are modelled to full engineering spec in AutoCAD as dynamic blocks within a bespoke library.
