Brentford Lock West, designed by MAE Architects, built in Hounslow (London). This is a personal project, in which the aim is to replicate the project exactly as it is in reality. The building consists of two volumes, 157 homes on 2 plots, which are inspired by their context and the warehouses that previously occupied the site using. It uses a limited palette of materials, mainly exposed brick along with concrete, painted metal, natural stained timber and cladding, to modulate the building’s facades and provide character.
