It almost looks like a painting.. i like the fact that you went in for a NPR finish.. how long did it take you? Awesome work!

The building didn't take long at all. All the landscaping stuff took about 4 days probably, but some of that was because I was making things up as I went along.

About this image

Everything here is modeled, or scattered using multiscatter. The trees in the foreground are made with the help of Onyx, and multiscatter again. I made some of the plants from scratch and others are purchased. I tried to spend a lot of time on materials and lots of details in the modeling. I did some really heavy post work, mostly getting the colors / lighting just right.

This is a private residence in California.
