It is parametric as long as the modifier stack is still intact and editable, i.e. you can go in and change parameters such as floor to floor height, thickness of ribs, size of openings etc. The 'animate' button in edit poly mode is very useful in this respect, allowing you to edit insets, extrusions etc. after the fact. Just make sure to only do one command per modifier, renaming them helps too.

Well this is parametric modeling in a sense. For example, if you stack a stack of modifiers on top of a base mesh, you can change some parameters, like the preset subdivision on a plane, or maybe use an edit poly modifier below the stack and create a topology using edit poly tools. I still prefer grasshopper 3d.

These are really awesome looking, I have to say out of them all though, I love the light one the most. Really cool designs.

Thanks for the links. I am also signed up for a parametric modeling in 3dsmax session at Autodesk University, so hopefully that helps.

Thank you 'anejo'. Good tutorials about 3dsMAX's parametric modeling in designreform site.
And visit 'parametric array' site. (http://www.torabiarchitect.com/blog/?page_id=190)
It's really great parametric script for 3dsMAX.

Interesting. I know nothing about parametric modeling in Max, and would love to see tutorials.
