Very mistirious mood - well done. Material mapping is fine too.DOF isn't my favourit effect beside very close object fotographs. The ptc5 picture is hard to comment, has something to do with vertigo, so I'm not able to look at it. RK

dof is much better. just remove some of that heavey abberation and it'll look even nicer!

thanks, well in this condition dof can be even trickier, since there s no close geometry that can make it merge with the rest of the image, but yes i agree i could have been more patient in applying my dof and get a better result or a more accurate one. in this case i wanted to focus on the tv area and not the patio itself, i modeled the baker arm chair so i think it s fair. anyway i m not going to correct my dof at the moment, but i uploaded a version with no dof for u. btw i have 3 other pics attached that... well if u want feel free to comment on the attachments as well

Agreed on this point, the DOF does make everything as if it was pasted on afterwards.

the dof is also giving me the strong impression the background plate is disconnected from the forground action.

Nice rendering but bizarre furniture grouping. Is that a chair you can listen to half the sound and not watch tv in?
