Hello Kostas, If you want to improve your skills, just start another program... Max and vray can give better result. And also another advise is not use so much photoshop for adding objects but only for post production...
Thank you for your suggestions Vasili, every time i want to learn something, and you are a I use 3ds max, but with the standard in ver9 mental ray renderer, now i retry some older projects in vray. Also you are right about photoshop but in this project i have no info at all about the area around house and of course no time. Thanks Costas greetings from Crete

ahh oke.. its photoshop.. i tought so..... i got for some kind the intention, in every post that is on this site that 3ds max is used. Than yeah i was really interested in the environment how you did the grass .. did you use HDRI map.. but you modeled in archicad, i dont know anything about this program... i think its the same as revit. but i cant give you improvements.... because i dont know the details about your software.. this picture gives you a great impression about the house, but the little details like bump and displacement.. the wood texture are not that good, chiminee is missing texture as well.. mayb somebody that is using your software can help you.. cheers
Hi Kas, yes the 3ds is the most popular software to use because is old and compatible, but is many equally platforms like blender or maxwell e.t.c. The grass added in photoshop from HDR real taken photo. Archicad is similar to Revit. Now I upload some more views of the same project, i try to correct some texturing errors, but i can't do nothing about wood texture because is to late to return back.I think the chiminee is textured well with the same as the column is plaster, look to other pictures to see this. Thanks bye

how did you do the environment?
Hi there, What did you mean "environment"; The sky, mountains and trees is a real background picture The house is modeled in archicad and rendered in mental ray with real stone texture and Photon map+Final Gather method. Of course photoshop for the grass and little details. I believe you find my answer useful. Any way,I have time to answer because I'm a new Greek Unemployment
