Wood House

Good question, that was actually quite a challenge for the architects. There are basicly three tricks, to prevent the wood from getting harmed by weather and humidity.
1. The top of every bar is either covered by a metal balustrade or cut with a 30° angle, so no snow or rain will stay on top of the wood.
2. The bars itself do not touch the ground (this is a bit unclear in the rendering)
3. The distance between the bars and the distance to the wall are big enough to prevent the wood from getting wet or bad.
Like this the wood should be good for 30 Years. Of course during time maybe one or the other needs to be replaced, but overall, 30 years should do it.
Oh yeah, I forgot: The house itself is not totally made of wood. Just the facade. Behind the wooden facade, there are regular concrete walls. And of course ground and ceiling are also concrete.
hope I could help

I think totally used wood in it.
No doubt it is so beautiful but i want to know,is it able to perform or compete over a long period?
Can you tell me about its durability?
