I have worked on an exact similar project. this is interesting.
I gave up client was very cheap. it was a third hand job. :(

Thanks for the pointers! Yes, it does take a lot of time to get all the little details but it's almost when you have no details the eye can pick it out immediately, but when you do a great deal of detail people don't often notice it (aside from critiques) which I find is the way to go =)
We do use a few things from "evermotion" for say the plants and the chairs, though we pretty much always redo the textures. Besides those few things, I model, unwrap, texture, light, render and process everything you see.

Those are really intense! so much detail in the modeling. It must have taken a while. Do you have a library of objects in your office that you use? The renderings are pretty good, it looks like you could do a bit more in photoshop for your post production depending on the amount of realism you are trying to achieve. I suggest looking up a few basic tutorials to help your images 'pop'.
