A modular cabin that blends functionality, sustainability, and architectural purity. Designed with bioclimatic principles, it optimizes cross ventilation and mitigates solar radiation through pergolas, lattices, and overhangs. Its structure, inspired by the Japanese Sashimono joinery technique, uses interlocking timber connections without mechanical fasteners, enhancing integrity and aesthetics. Oriented east-west to maximize natural light and sunrise views, the cabin is elevated on stilts to minimize site impact, improve passive cooling, and mitigate environmental risks. It also integrates a rainwater harvesting system to enhance sustainability.
