Its structure, inspired by the Japanese Sashimono joinery technique, uses interlocking timber connections without mechanical fasteners, enhancing integrity and aesthetics. Oriented east-west to maximize natural light and sunrise views, the cabin is elevated on stilts to minimize site impact, improve passive cooling, and mitigate environmental risks. It also integrates a rainwater harvesting system to enhance sustainability.
