Oh one link of the drain? No I didn't try that, the pool has curves though and I can't see that working out. Would it not wig out on the corners? I used the spacing tool to distribute all of the boxes that I thought would soon be holes, and they didn't handle the corners too well.
Virtual drain hurting my brain

draw spline
create one 'link'
use the spacing tool to distribute the link along the spline
just a suggestion
regarding the renders, I'm not normally a huge fan of the classic stuff you normally post, i find it too cluttered but that's just my taste, however, these images are really nice, the only things ruining it for me are the chrome pillars. The water looks really good. And it hits the spot for me in terms of style, not too classic, not too modern, just nicely understated luxury

Hey I really like what you've done here mate. I'm trying to make a drain just like yours there. Can you give me some insight into how you created it?
I created a loft which worked fine. Then tried to proboolean all of the holes, around 4000 of them. For some reason it wouldn't work at all.
Would love to know your approach.
Thank you : D
