The best way to take a break from work is to create your own work for the soul.
I decided to create a random city scenario, namely from Amsterdam.
The last time I was in this city was a year ago, so I decided to recreate the buildings from one of the streets I passed every day at that time. Between the existing buildings I added a new one, pretending there was room for it.
One of the main ideas was to combine the visualization of the exterior and the interior, so why not enjoy the view of the beautiful street while focusing on the new architecture from the cozy cafe.
You can create any scenario as long as you are the author and the client of the image you created.
At first it was sunny, but to be honest, the weather in Amsterdam is usually rainy and gloomy, so I changed the lighting in the image as well. I also played with the materials and changed them from time to time to make the image look as pleasing to me as possible.
The only problem with working for yourself is that there is no deadline and it's hard to decide if you still want to improve or if it's better to stop and enjoy what you have. But I was more-less happy and decided to render it and start with post-production.
The main character enjoying the rainy weather sitting on a big orange chair and drinking coffee is me, ... because why not?
Thanks for reading and viewing the image, work in progress is also attached to the board.
Cheers
